Welcome to Reverend Jim Miller and his wife, Diane. Jim’s tenure at the First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, OK for 31 years has recently ended and gives him an opportunity to lead us in worship for the next three winter seasons. His educational background not only covers Princeton Theological Seminary masters, but Ph.D. degree abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. His family is generationally broad and deep with ministerial calling. His father and one of his brothers are preachers.
During his long tenure in Tulsa, Jim served as a Trustee for the University of Tulsa as well as a director for several other local service groups. His background involves teaching at the college level and a concentration on C.S. Lewis’s writings and life. He plans to
discover whether there’s an interest in our community for this information.
Jim and Diane are parents to three children and have recently become grandparents as well with two young ones in Texas. Diane was with IBM when they met. She is involved in sports, outdoor activities and service to the community. She plans to find her Junonia on the beach outside the parsonage next to the Chapel.
