One of our Mission Outreach partners is ECHO - Hope Against Hunger, over the bridge in Fort Myers​. On  their 50-acre tropical grounds, they teach farming around the World to end hunger on our planet. Interns each serves a 10-month course then go forth and teach - 18 countries on 4 continents last year alone. Our Mission Committee met with  a long-time Chapel recipient, the Quality Life Center in Fort Myers, run by Mr. Muhammad, an amazing teacher and community leader. In the first photo, he points to the Captiva Chapel on Wall of Fame. We have been their partner since the mid-1990’s. On March 17, 2023 Nathalie Pyle and Kathy Knoblauch visited The Dubin Center located in Fort Myers. The Dubin Center is one of the ten agencies that is supported by the Chapel.  This agency provides training, support groups, and resources for caregivers of people experiencing dementia.
