Chapel books by Sandy Ehlers are now on our web site. The history of the Chapel is one of the top five attributes which people admire. We are very fortunate to have celebrated the 100th birthday of our Chapel building in 2004 with the publication of the first of two books by Sandy McCartney Ehlers, who was assisted by a group of research hounds that made this publication a truly successful rendering of the life of this congregation. "In God’s Time" is its title. The second book – "An Old White Chapel Where God Lives" – the title is bold. It is an update from 2004 to 2010 of many happenings and a brief reiteration of the history from the first book. Both books have been out of print for almost a decade. Sandy has graciously allowed us to share them as an online publication of the Captiva Chapel.
