About The Event
The Chapel has long been known as a “pet-friendly” community of faith. Every Sunday sees attendees bringing their pets with them for worship. Some years ago, the Chapel began a time for a sacred acknowledgement of the bond many have with their pets, which came to be known as “the Blessing of the Animals.” It is a way for us to bear witness not only to our love for our pets, but to God’s love for them also. This year’s Blessing will be held on April 19, following our morning worship. Please bring your pets on that Sunday so that they and you may be blessed as an expression of our Chapel’s concern for all creation.
