Volunteer Opportunities

Buildings & Grounds
This committee, in partnership with the Chapel Maintenance Manager, supports the ongoing care and preservation of the Chapel grounds, cemetery, garage, and parsonage. Serving in an advisory role, committee members collaborate with the chairperson to help guide decisions, but are not expected to perform physical maintenance tasks themselves.

Communications
This committee meets periodically to brainstorm and implement strategies for increasing Chapel attendance and engagement. Responsibilities include updating the website and Facebook page, preparing press releases, and sending informational emails to regular attendees and the broader community.

Finance
This committee meets periodically and is responsible for fiscal sustainability, insurance, investments and any other major financial obligations of the Chapel.

Missions
The Missions Committee meets monthly during the Chapel season (November–April) to thoughtfully recommend local non-profit organizations for Chapel-supported donations. These community partners focus on supporting children, families, and seniors. Committee members conduct in-person visits with each local partner and share their findings with the group, helping to ensure that donations are impactful and aligned with the Chapel’s mission.
