I’m Rita Ewell, and I currently serve on the Board as Chair off the Hospitality Committee. I feel in love with the Chapel By The Sea at my first service on December 24, 1992. Listening to the waves, seeing the palm trees waving and the birds soaring while experiencing God’s word is truly inspiring. There is a welcoming spirit that invites you to experience the fellowship of the Chapel Community.

My husband, Clay and I, originally from Maryland, became Florida residents on Captiva in 2018. We can literally walk to the Chapel! When not participating in Chapel activities, I enjoy Pilates, reading, learning Mahjongg and being a dog mom.
