My husband, Dick, and I lived full-time on Captiva for twenty-two years. We now live at Shell Point during the week and spend our weekends at our home on Captiva. I have served on the Captiva Chapel By the Sea Board of Associates for many years, including terms as Secretary, Vice President, and President.

I’ve also been a member and chair of the Missions Committee and currently manage the Captiva Historic Cemetery on behalf of the Chapel. Beyond the Chapel, I’ve served on the board of my neighborhood homeowners’ association and have been an active member of the Captiva Island Yacht Club.

My community involvement has included many years of board leadership with the Gladiolus Learning Center, now a program of the Heights Center in the Harlem Heights neighborhood of Fort Myers. Dick and I are proud parents of three children and grandparents to five wonderful grandchildren.

I treasure the ministry of the Captiva Chapel By the Sea and remain deeply committed to supporting its vibrant role in the community as a welcoming place of worship and intentional outreach in Christ’s name.
