Hi! I’m Janie Adams, and I am one of the newest members on the Chapel Board. Captiva has been a part of my life for 42 years. It is where my husband, Alan and I honeymooned, brought our 3 children for Spring Breaks and currently spend our winters escaping the gray days of Tennessee. Sundays at the Chapel are a highlight of our week as we come together in song, worship and fellowship with other believers, all with the peaceful sound of the ocean in our midst. Our visiting guests especially enjoy sermons from the Chapel window and the friendly faces that always make us all feel a part of the family that meets there.

At home in Tennessee we spend our time enjoying our 5 grandchildren, being active in our church and making memories with family and friends. Alan is a semi-retired residential home building contractor and I have been an active part of supporting him in that endeavor. I enjoy reading, exercising at our local Y and walking our beloved Cairn Terrier, Abigail.
