My wife Kris and I both grew up in the Detroit area. We have been visiting Sanibel and Captiva since the 1970s and have owned property on the islands for over 30 years. We are blessed with three children and two grandchildren. We spend our summers hiking in North Carolina with our Golden Retriever Juniper.

I am a CPA and have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan. Following graduation, I was the CEO of the Mott Children’s and Women’s Hospitals at the University of Michigan. After several years, I joined Andersen Consulting/Accenture where he held a variety of positions including Worldwide Managing Partner of the Health Services Industry group and elected member the Accenture Board of Partners.

Since retiring, I have been active on the boards of a number of organizations including the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation, the Seaspray Property Owners Association, the Forest Conservancy and Captiva Chapel by the Sea.

We have attended Chapel by the Sea since 2019 and have enjoyed the Chapel love, fellowship and Ospreys every Sunday. Kris has served on the Missions Committee and I has served on the Board.
