In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) the leadership of the Captiva Chapel By the Sea is doing our best to follow federal and state guidelines to limit the size of group gatherings.  Doors to the Chapel remain open daily for visitors.

Captiva Chapel By The Sea, where all are welcome regardless of their religious beliefs,  is an interdenominational ministry serving South West Florida's winter season and is recognized in the National Register of Historic Places.

We worship at 11:00 am, every Sunday, from the second week of November through the month of April and encourage you to drop by for a visit any time of the year.

Following our Sunday worship services, we invite you to a time of hospitality and fellowship. It's a chance to greet old friends and meet new ones...complete with coffee, cold beverages, and sweet treats.

Captiva Chapel By The Sea nurtures both a strong community within, and we are committed to supporting mission outreach in the broader community.
There is no membership roster at our church, yet a motivated and enthusiastic group of volunteers manage to get things done "in God's time".
Historically, Captiva Chapel By The Sea has relied solely on support provided entirely by Sunday plate collections and voluntary gifts. That tradition continues today.
