Captiva Chapel By The Sea is a mission church, offering support to not-for-profits in our area and around the world. Nearly half of our offerings go to support the following missions. We are proud of the impact we have made to help our neighbors on Sanibel, Captiva, in Fort Myers and beyond. The Heights Foundation/The Heights Center is located in Harlem Heights, a severely distressed community, with kids living in poverty at twice the rate of the rest of Lee County. The solution to poverty is education and opportunity. They provide tutoring for kids struggling in school, job training for hard working parents, and access to lifelong education and wellness–creating an entirely different future for families in our community. One of our Mission Partners is the South Fort Myers Food Pantry where they feed the needy of the South Fort Myers area including Sanibel and Captiva. Captiva Chapel by the Sea is one of several area churches that regularly helps the pantry to meet the needs of the clients.
