Our Chapel’s effectiveness depends solely on the support of volunteers. We are always looking for those who have a heart to serve through filling vital roles, both on Sundays and at other times in the month. If you feel called to give of your time and talents in such a way, please reach out to Nathalie Pyle at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can be certain that we’ll help you get connected and, in the process, to find fulfillment in putting your faith to work.
LENTEN BIBLE STUDY
A Chapel tradition is to spend the weeks prior to Easter Sunday in serious study on the theme of Christian discipleship. This year’s study will center around six key passages that help us to understand better what it means to bear Christ’s cross and to show our seriousness to journey with him through the Valley of the Shadow of Death into Easter glory. The first study will be February 21 at 11 AM and will continue through the Wednesday of Holy Week, March 27. These studies will be interactive; everyone’s perspective will be important. So, mark these dates on your calendar and join us as we gather around Scripture to find the direction that will form us into truly Easter people.
The schedule is as follows:
2/21 – John 8:31-38
2/28 – Matthew 28:16-20
3/6 – 2 Timothy 2:1-2
3/13 – John 13:34-35
3/20 – Romans 10:14-17
3/27 – Mark 8:34-38.
HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE
This year’s Holy Week begins on March 24 with our Palm Sunday worship at 11 AM. Maundy Thursday worship will begin at 4 PM, during which we will observe our last Communion for the season. We will have our Good Friday worship at 12 PM. Our Lenten observance will culminate with Easter worship on Sunday, March 31, at 11 AM. Be aware that we will anticipate a much larger attendance for Easter. We look forward to seeing you at each of these services.
February 25th "What Matters Most"
People who follow Jesus will never spend their time or energy on things that jeopardize their souls. They will instead find a reason for living that enables them to go through each day with no regrets.
